Was looking through the winners of the Great American Beer Fest and saw that Abita won the silver medal in the Bock competition with Andygator. It looked like the first medal for a LA brewery in a decade.

Good for them.

Back home in NOLA from watching the Tigers get the Win. The seared tuna and gator sauce picante was delicious. Too many good beer to count.

Awesome afternoon boys... Tried a lot of great beers. It was great to meet everyone.

ETA: The thing that kills me about that beer is the double digit alcohol content. They have to be lying about it...

Check out the AA website. I think a Bend road trip should be arranged. Bend has a sick number of breweries. Of course, Portland would be on the itinerary, too.
