Anytime, homie!

FBD - The Jewels, Hop Butcher

ETA: Yo, Chitown, you mentioned someone was going to be in Chicago soon and needed some brewery recommendations from us. It was a couple days ago - sorry I missed that.

Forgot who it was, but a few quick ideas in the city: Maplewood, Corridor (DryHop is sister brewpub that is nearby), Half Acre (Lincoln, but Balmoral is the new facility and Spiteful is right there, too), Goose Island (Fulton), Forbidden Root (hit-or-miss, IMO), Marz, Revolution, and Alarmist (solid beer, but a hike).

Suburb ideas: MoRE, Mikerphone, Noon Whistle, and Riverlands, Hailstorm, Solemn Oath, Sketchbook

If you can find in cans, pick-up Hop Butcher, Saint Errant and/or Phase Three. All three contract brew right now, but are among the most-sought after NEIPAs in the city. Guessing Saint Errant will be the only one on shelves, but Hop Butcher does city drops on Thursday and Phase Three on Friday.

After a few shitty undocumenteds, NBD is a ghost. This is much better than the last batch I got.

You got this.

FBD is a Paulaner Hefe. Zappas Hefe drinking last week made me revisit the style.
