Every now and then I think I want to try shrooms once just to see, then I realize I'd have to find a babysitter and the thought starts feeling a little past its due date.

You can get a sitter and drop some acid, anyone can do it. I don’t always come back to beer after brown but, NextBD is Great Notion Berry and Cream stout (Blueberry and Coconut)

Ehhhh, shrooms aren’t that much of a commitment. In my experience it’s generally about 4 hours, 6 hours max. Also relatively mild in terms of hallucinogenic properties. I’ve not experienced the massive time dilation I get with LSD from shrooms. It feels like a 4 hour high. And not quite as trippy.
LSD, you’re locked in for 8-12 hours depending on dose and quality. And honestly, those last 2-4 hours are annoying as hell. You’re very aware that you’re not right, but you’re also not in the full throes of the high/hallucinogen. You’re just kinda space-y. And at that point you’re ready to make dinner, or do laundry, or whatever else you need to do, but you can’t really do it because you know you’ll be bad at it because you’re a space cadet, and it’s just annoying. Also, hours 2-8 on LSD feel like lifetimes. It’s incredible. So much happens.
