FBD was a Yazoo Hop Project No. 71 earlier with lunch in Jackson. Very good beer. Moving my daughter out of her third floor dorm room with a bad calf demanded a lunch beer.

SBD back home will be a Parish Farmhouse IPA that I am chilling.

Oh, I'll drink it. I put 2 in my basket. 5 minutes later I said to myself, Zappa.....you don't like Stone stuff and your wife is not happy with all the beer you buy.....Parabola is going to be on the shelf next week. So I put one back on the shelf.

agreed. i base it off which label is the coolest.

kim, my wife came home with a "gift" today. she was so proud that she found some #71 hp at fresh market. turns out they are #70's. still very good, i'm just ready to try the #71 based on its description.

i did get some news from my neighbor just a second ago that he was able to get some snake handler. not sure how much he was able to secure.

I'm just saying it obvious that a lot of craft beer drinkers think highly of it and on the same level as Double Jack.

It is often very hard to read their stampings on the label, so we will give her a break.

Great. You know how sometimes you revisit a beer after a year of tasting other great beers and it is not as good as you remember? Snake Handler was not like that for me--it was better than I remembered.

FBD -

Didn't drink it withing 3 month freshness window. Just outside. I think I can tell it's not as "hoppy"
Stopped by Phillipe's after work to get some Farmhouse IPA... ended up with a little more than I expected. Also grabbed those nifty plastic wine glasses KJ always has

Also in response to everything else that's being discussed here today:
I think Abbrassive then Pliny, but very very close. Had Double Jack when I was first getting into craft and don't think I appreciated it enough to have an opinion on it. Enjoy By is very good I think.

I also really like Farmhouse IPA.
