This is my last one. I got a supplement from TCO too. I am a big fan of this one.

New beer for tx folks to look out for. Called Codex Triplex by Real Ale. Barrel-aged brett with souring bacteria added. Know it will be at moth in dallas tomorrow at noon

I want someone to tell my why Dale's isn't considered to be an IPA...

well, a pale ale is a simple designation which denotes the use of lighter, or more pale, malts as a posed to darker malt for darker beers.also, pale ales tend to be more balanced with hop and mild compared to their IPA counterparts. I believe that the terms pale ale and IPA can vary from brewery to brewery. The Pale Ale is just a toned down version of the IPA that is more balanced

Yes. They can call them whatever they want. No appellation rules like with wine.

APA would be better term, but the styles are simply relative to each other within a brewery
