Woke up with a pretty nasty cold. Blindsided.. this sucks. Had to deal with it while I took care of shopping, taking the new pup to the dog park, and meal prepping for the week.. I need to drink more so I forget about it.

So, we've had the parades streaming on Nola.com all weekend, and I was just in shock at the 9 year old "dance team" twerking in little outfits.. Jones said, "yeah, its obvious you've never done real mardi gras"

It all depends what part of NOLA you're Mardi Grasing at and which parade it is.. The area I was in last year was really chill, family oriented.

I'm not one to usually get really crazy, so a chill spot was good for me
That just depends on the parade, but unfortunately little girls twerking is probably par for the course I am not well versed in New Orleans mardi gras either
