People still drive all the way out there and line up at Tree House?? I mean, a few years ago they were making beer at a level few others were. That has changed. There is probably a brewery in every state that is pretty much as good as TH now. Maybe I’m wrong. I wonder how long the lines will last.

They are both good, not great. The Sidewalk is very good, it just has El Dorado in it, which I don’t really care for. The Neutral Ground may need a week or two to settle. Its very green on the front, but has a nice pineapple finish. The lactose/creaminess you’d like in the milkshake style is not really there, maybe that will come forward as it settles.

My favorite may be this graham cracker and vanilla stout. I dont think they canned this one but its nice. They do a good job here of packing a good bit of flavor into these stouts that are pretty light. Though this one is 9%. You wouldnt know it.

FBD Utility Honey Saison

I really want to like these guys, but they just keep making incredibly mediocre beer...

I was in the area today anyway, so figured I would swing by.

You’re wrong.

Haven’t seen them slowing down. In fact, they continue to expand their facilities to keep up with demand.

I suppose I wasn’t referring to you in particular, but just generally that people still drive out there and stand in line. I cant speak for every state, so I may very well be wrong on the availability of beer on the level with TH.

2BD is another flight at Nola. Ran into the artist formally known as NolaBrewBus/Zealot who was leading a tour and fully in his element.
