Had first beers of the month, had some award winning BBQ, rode public transportation. Saw a shiny rib. What a night.

I have to admit I didn't see who the bands were tonight/this year for cook-off, but as soon as my HPD friend told me I made sure to go watch. He's also doing a show in the Heights soon that I want to go to 
It was a great crowd to play in front of! Thousands right down the middle of the cook-off in front of NRG and all the Ferris Wheels. That's a hell of a booking. Turnpike played there 2 years ago and now they're actually playing inside at the rodeo this year... If the singer shows up
