5BD: Another nice pour of BT Peach IPA. Think I like it better the second time. Nice beer these guys put together.

Not usually a big fan of these gimmicky type beers but this one is nicely executed. Not overly sweet, representative of the label - there's a nice balance between peanut butter flavor and grape jelly. Tastes more like the jarred stuff than anything organic and nuanced, but a nice job not fricking up the execution by making a mess of it.

FYI, I will be heading to God's Country this weekend so if any of the BR Krewe need a Piety or other NOLA Distribution beer let me know and I will try to make it happen.

6BD: A nice pour of Terra Incognita, a Sierra Nevada/Boulevard Brewing collaboration.

13% Ale; 55% Ale aged in wine barrels; 32% Ale aged in bourbon barrels. This is mighty fine, in my unprofessional opinion.

I really liked Rumplestoutskin, sent a growler out of it last week. This batch of Four Roses is really on point this time.

Can't say I'll argue that.

ETA: Glad to hear good things. One person told me they didn't like it as much, but clearly they were just dumb.

Not even close IMO. I domed a 750 of Piety, no problem. Split a bottle of Lowerline with someone and didn't really want to finish my portion.

Well that was a good day... we met a local who showed us a few local only type pubs. One they have a special beer that is only sold in the pub.
