Bruh, throw some Peronis into the mix. Its not the Nastro azurro that we get in the US, but the good ones they have there. Maltier but still refreshing

FBD is a Tree House Peach Tart Session on draft. Tree House came into Boston for the afternoon and is doing a pop up at the Prudential Center. Amazing way to enjoy a sunny 77 degree day.

They aren’t on tap outside the brewery still. The brewery itself is putting this special event on. This is the first time they have ever done it, so it’s a big deal around here.

Well technically the second. They had 4 of these scheduled during the summer, but two were canceled due to weather. this is the second and final one. I wasn’t able to get to the first

FBD is a Elderflower Mochi DIPA by Decadent.

It’s definitely SOMETHING... the nose is super grapey and floral. Almost like a grape extract purple lollipop. Not a great start for my liking. Those notes proceed even stronger into the taste with a mostly cloying fake grape/pear floral thing going on that lingers after it leaves your palate. Idk what Elderflower tastes like, but if this is it, I’m not a fan. I suppose some of the sweetness is to impart the “Mochi” character, but all I think of with Mochi is texturally gummy and mildly sweet, so idk. It is 8.7% and hidden extremely well, so it has that going for it, I guess.
