sharing the love again.
I hope you're getting a return on your investment...
I have this to look forward to from Block 15. It sounds pretty awesome.

Sneak peak at another Bourbon Month beer release! February's hop-forward canned offering will be out of The DAB Lab series, which focuses on vibrant, resinous hoppy ales brewed with CO2 hop extract and select hop varieties. Juice Joint features kettle additions of Mosaic and Apollo extract, Columbus hops, and Citra lupulin powder. It was then double dry-hopped with Galaxy and Columbus hops, as well as Citra and Mosaic lupulin powder—a heady combination that's packed with resin-dipped pineapple skunk and fresh squeezed twisted citrus.
The DAB Lab, Juice Joint is landing in 16oz cans as part of our Bourbon Month bottle and can release on Saturday, February 4th. We will also be distributing draft and cans to various Block 15 accounts around Oregon!
What the hell is this lupulin powder stuff?

I'm a trust fund baby, Jax. No need for reciprocation.

FBD- Boizz to Menn. This is a really good 10.5% Triple IPA.
I am feeling generous. I will send one can of each of Boizz to Menn and Broz Night Out (100% Citra DIPA) to the first FBD poster that responds to my email address marvinmethuselah@yahoo.com. While reciprocation of beer would be nice, it will not be required.

AKA "hop kief"
A certain brewery in Houston has used it in three different IPA batches recently, and it's dank AF.

got me curious, not much out there but did find this..

"Lupulin is the wonderful little yellow oil pods you see inside a hop cone that contain all of the flavor, aromatics (oils) and even bittering potential (alpha and beta acids). Lupulin Powder claims to be the least vegetal form of hops available without going to CO2 or steam distilled extracts. It arrives in the same package as pelletized hops, but feels like a big mushy block instead of hard pellets."

FBD- Firestone Walker Luponic Distortion. This is 004 in the series. Has the experimental South African hops that folks seem excited about
How is it? Seems like the first one was great and 2 dropped of, and I didn't try 3.

Brash first made it with Barley Grind PA, last batch of Cali Green and most recently Pussy wagon. It's been a huge hit and I'm hearing other breweries are picking up on it. Whole Foods (Post Oak/Houston) used it in their most recent beer too.

Although I've been told I have nothing to trade, the beer scene here is improving every year. I can find something worthy.

The boys at Block 15 seem to be willing to experiment. They've been using CO2 hop extract, as well as lupulin powder, and bought a cool ship to play with.
This juice joint has both CO2 hop extracts and a couple of lupulin powders added at different stages of brewing. Sounds like reduced cat piss...

I think Heady Topper only uses CO2 extract for their bittering, everything else comes in Whirlpool/dryhop.
Next up is a Opus split with the pops:
