It's alright. Was hoping for a better offering considering the breweries that collaborated to make it / the idea of a black saison is interesting and I'm pretty sure this is the first beer of that style I have had. It has a nice roasted/smoky malt flavor and there's a slight hop bitter flavor. What it really needs is for the saison aspect to come through more.

TBD / thanks Hambone - last time I had this was at some Mexican restaurant in NYC and I didn't really care for it then. think maybe it was old. really digging it right now though.
