Glad you got it Big E. Yeez was nice to do my muling for me. I think I prefer that beer on draft vs bottle--on draft it is a little less bitter and has more mango/pineapple--but it is solid regardless. I don't need anything but maybe we can hook up for a beer at some point when I'm back down.

i am sure that the state would love to here that a prominent bar is selling beer from an unapproved label

Before I moved to TX last year, I was obsessed with that beer and Boulevard's Sixth Glass, since those weren't distributed in Louisiana. Was my favorite DIPA. Funny how perspectives change.
But yall get Ghost in LA. I couldn't even get any of the 2nd batch. My father was able to grab me one 4-pack of the first batch to bring to TX, and I thought it was better than DFH 90 Min.

Ghost is better, but I also still grab a 4-pack of 90-Minute whenever I'm back in TX.

I'm glad that someone else thinks Ghost compares favorably to the big DIPA's. I really think it's the best beer made in LA right now.
The only thing the DFH 90 has over the Ghost is that the 90 can age pretty well.

The only DIPA's available here that I've liked. more than Ghost is Double Jack and one of the Green Flash imperials (they do several, can't remember which one). I've also enjoyed the hell out of Space Cake, but the nose doesn't hold up against Ghost.
I like DFH 90 very much still, and it's a good deal at $9.99 a 4-pack. Also liked their Burton Baton a whole lot too.

I think they're more concerned that the place next door that's been open a week has already been cited for serving to underage kids.
