If anybody is looking for a quiet place to vacation - beaches, surfing, and no crowds, Hutchinson Island is pretty good. We go to an off-leash beach, but there are other beaches just as nice. Not a lot of nightclubs and amusement parks, but there are lots of caual waterfront restaurants. Stuart is at the south end of the island and Fort Pierce is at the North End. Jensen Beach is right in the middle. No traffic, no crowds, and no high rise condos...
