Endeavor is good IMO.

No beer for me tonight. Went to Italian dinner and now at $10 bottomless wine at the bar.

I know of a few topless bars, but I didn't think they could serve alcohol at bottomless bars?

Evening Mavens. I finally made the leap and purchased a growler today. I grabbed one up at Elios for a song, though I assume the fact it's an Abita bottle will instantly revoke my maven application.

Question, any tips on washing these?

TIA

Some will probably tell you to just rinse. Personally, my sanitation fixations don't allow for me to do just that. I add soap, a little water, cap, and shake. Then I rinse, add water, and shake again. Then I rinse until the water doesn't show signs of soap and I don't get any soap smell when I sniff it. The worst thing you can have is a growler fill that is tainted by soap flavors.

Most places will do a rinse for you before filling it -- I always opt for this service to knock out any dust that might have accumulated between fills.

Be sure to air dry, don't just cap it and store it. I assumed you would figure that out, but you're friends with R2R so I don't want to leave anything to chance. And wash and air dry the cap as well. Mildew. Ugh.

How do you like that Mud Bug?

It's ok. Not enough body for my liking. Plenty of coffee notes, but feels watery.

This was my first Mud Bug beer-FYI
