My brother had me talk to a Manager of his today who is considering taking a job in either San Antonio or South San Francisco near the airport. I should have mentioned beer selection as a positive for SF. Lord knows the no income taxes in TX is a big big plus for the Alamo. Of course he would get higher pay in CA but likely wouldn't make up the difference. And the 8.75 sales tax rate doesn't help either. LoL.

I think if I was in his shoes I would go to San Antonio. I can't see a Red Roof Inn manager making enough to buy in SF but it could happen in SA most likely.
