I'd still give it a shot. How was it fresh?

Good. I used a pound of piloncillo and a pound is Steens syrup in the boil, and then added rum soaked oak cubes to the secondary

It started out pretty boozy but that mellowed. It has a light mouthfeel and a slight hint of pecans, but is still sweet like a praline.

I am planning to make it again as my first all-grain batch

I've given some to List Eater and Dean, so they can answer about it as well

Bad day at work for me as well.

FW Wookey Jack is making it all better now though. First time having it and it's delicious.

When will that be? I need to get some of my bottles to you and maybe I can snag some stuff from Zapp as well.

My wife said that planting design sucks! (not really, but she is a pretty opinionated LA)

If you need a second/third/fourth opinion on the next batch, let me know and we can work something out.

If you still have trouble accessing limited releases in Houston, I can always help you out an pick up an extra bottle of something you want...

I'm about to execute a trade with Bottomland. I'll wait until I get his stuff and then send you a package with mine, his and maybe Zapps homebrew.
