What's the deal with not being able to find Lakewood in Houston???

You can only get Lakewood at Specs on Smith (and maybe 1-2 others inside the loop)...the same goes for Hops and Grain, Austin Beerworks, Community, and a few others.

Started the day with this

Then went to Falling Rock. Had a Deviant Dales then a "Rock Star" which is a blend of New Belgium BA sours picked by Chris at Falling rock and the owner of Star Bar.

How is it? I don't know if my tastes have changed, but I have not enjoyed the last few #s as well as the earlier #s.

Now I'm at Mellow Mushroom and I'm having a Dales. I love fresh Dales plus it's $2 here.

Brian Black at FR is married to an LSU girl and Chris knows me by name and always shoots the shite with me but alas, it ain't enough to get me a pty keg or growler. Honestly it's way overrated. I like Blind Pig the best out of all their ipas and think Hop Venom if better than all of em.

4BD is a Moo Hoo

Got embroiled in a conversation with a crack head. Went to my car to get something. He saw me, started talking, and wouldn't shut up. Gave him about 8 ounces of Buffalo Trace in a plastic cup just to make stop talking so I could get away. I got shite to do. I can't wait until the summer when I can GTFO of this hood neighborhood.

ETA: I just decided -- now taking donations for the "Get Yeezy out of the Hood so he doesn't get shot kickstarter"

I just can't eat 5 months worth of rent right now

It's just ok. I agree. The last few have been forgettable. I like the idea that they change the recipe regularly. It seems they've been on a more English hops run lately. I prefer the citrus/floral hops that they were rocking around 65. Hopefully they'll make it back that direction when the weather warms

Metropolis coffee right down the street. I love Prost and have spent many hours on their patio though.

Just kidding...I've been waiting for a few hours to use the gif. As much hype as pty receives, there's no way it can live up to it

Hood part of Carrollton. It's honestly not that bad. It's affordable. But there are moments when I realize a scrawny arse white dude has no place in my neighborhood unless they sling coke. It's kinda funny. I enjoy it bitching about it; it's one of those things I'll tell my kids about someday.

You know, "One time your dad was a drunk in the hood. Don't make bad life decisions. You'll die."
