Where are you in VT? My favorite state in the country. Going to be spending Christmas in Woodstock, VT with my wife and her family - can't wait.
ETA: Heady Topper is good, but if you see Focal Banger grab that instead. It's easily the best beer they brew.
And of course it goes without saying that Hill Farmstead must be purchased whenever on a menu. Burlington Beer Co. is one of my favorite breweries in the country as well.

Crusher is the best IMO. And Foam is the best brewer in VT.

Foam is definitely amazing, but I would certainly put them behind Hill Farmstead and Burlington Beer Co.
I actually don't like Crusher.

Check out Doc Ponds for lunch or dinner - really great food and beer list.
Also if you want something aside from the IPAs in Vermont, von Trapp brewery is a great place to visit.

No doubt. I love Vermont so far. The views, the community, the people, the culture. It's great.
I don't love the spotty cell coverage and bad wifi but small potatoes. I thought I loved Colorado, Austin, and San Fran but so far Vermont has taken the cake.
