Big Bad Baptist release 40 (10-14)
I know I've had Big Bad Baptist once and that may have been the one. It was at rutiger's and I think s14 brought it. Somebody brought it back from a trip to Boo's and HC's wedding.

I am trying to moderate too and doing pretty well. It can't always work though.

FBD was a chocolate oat anniversary ale at Tin Roof. Was just ok.

FBW is a Terrapin Cinnamon Roll'd W-n-B. The cinnamon is faint and this is delicious.

yeah gave that some serious thought but after staring at the brown something in my brain went "this will not end well and you know it"

The funny thing is that some stores still have 6 month old bottles on the shelf. I bet they will never sell.

Ya my fam in BR was getting me some for when they come to Houston and tried Matherne's on Highland first and it was from June. I said don't bother haha. They came through in the clutch though.

I checked Matherene's on bluebonnet last week, it didn't even have a date stamp. May have been Envie batch 1.

3BD
Release #40, which means bottled in September 2014. However, not overly malty. A bit sweet. Almost like a hoppy barleywine. Quite nice.
