It felt like a no beer day. We’ve been overloaded with satsumas from our farm share box the last few weeks, so yesterday I juiced some and used the juice to make a simple syrup. Dropped in a cinnamon stick, but really wanted some clove. Of course we didn’t have any whole cloves, so here we are. A little 114 with a splash of syrup and a couple dashes of bitters. I think there’s the bones of a good drink here, this just isn’t quite it.
Then I remembered my buddy dropped off my Abraxas box earlier this week. 2 regular, plus the variants. No time like the present for an adjunct stout. Don’t want the cinnamon to drop off and all that. Taking this bottle to the dome and then I’ll bet the covers will be at my chin.
