It would be an unfair fight.

Love it! Gotta try this beer now. RUSS was great I thought. I'm not sure that Jester King can make a BAD beer so....

You know, I saw that comment by you and others but I thought the wood tones were really subdued. I typically don't like overly woody brews and really disliked the Commercial Suicide b/c it tasted like licking a Lowe's on a hot Saturday.

i've never had it, but after reading this thread it sounds like i need to just to have an opinion.

weasel rodeo is unreal.

noble kind, funk metal and das uberkind are all great.

i'd be kind of surprised to see JK miss.

Well, thats 3 votes for el cedro sucks. Believe it.

Make it 4. Honestly, I've had a good number of things from them that weren't anything special.

Had a Sam Adams Summer Ale at dinner and moved on the white wine.

I get cedar fever in the spring so maybe I am just sensitive to cedar. But you are the only person I've heard say they like it. Even Rouge dint care foe it and he is a woodchuck.

I have a spare El Cedro for you if you want it Ham.

Also, there's still some JK Salt Lick/Censored lurking in Houston if you want to try the smoked Pecan one...It didn't blow me away, but I liked it more than El Cedro.

98 on RateBeer and 91 on BeerAdvocate, maybe on tap and young bottles had a lot more cedar going on than the bottles that I got?

I won't hold your bad taste against you since the Zappa Dust was really good

Boxer's Revenge

Now that was a good one.

I've had Boxer's Revenge, Mad Meg, El Cedro, and Noble King. Noble King and El Cedro were not my favorite, but Mad Meg and Boxer's Revenge were great. Boxer's Revenge has a real dirty funkiness to it. Rather reminiscent of some flavors you get from some Fantome beers.

See, we split the Salt Lick up b/w like 5 people and I almost couldn't finish my portion but others really liked it.

I had this at the brewery and was a big fan, but I don't think they're going to brew it again..at least that's what I heard

CS literally tasted like you walked into a Lowe's or Home Depot and started making out with the first piece of lumber that you came across. It was offensive.
