All I know is the first time I saw it I bought all 7 they had at the HEB by my house and I drank 5 of them that Friday. In the words of Dave Chappelle, "it'll get ya drunk!"

Side question for the board, do y'all snack while you drink?

Sure. If possible I like to eat something that compliments or works well with the flavors of my beer.

what did y'all think of this?

I cracked a bottle open with my dad a couple months back and it was so malty I regretted it. Made me really appreciate Parish Grand Reserve.

We liked it. This bottle had plenty hops to it, balanced by a nice caramel sweetness. Favorable comparisons were made to the Grand Reserve.

I do that when I'm eating a meal, if I'm just drinking in usually grazing and limiting what food I'm consuming. Eta for instance tomorrow I'm smoking a brisket and plan to break out a coffee porter.

this is addressed to Rouge and theChosenOne...are ya'll still planning on grabbing beers tomorrow? I could break off for lunch for a cold one.

I don't think we can do lunch. We're going to Hay Merchant at 6 tomorrow night if you or any other Houston FBDers want to go.

Sbd last ethos ipa. I can't decide what I think about this beer. Sometimes it tastes to malty (imo) then the next sip will taste nice and balanced with hop and citrus.

i get the same thing. some cans i get great citrusy hops but others are a little flat/dull. overall i give it an average to above average rating, depending on the can.

Blame the auto text. Abd yeah coater, I stopped short of saying exactly that. Debating a 3bd but trying to hold off for dietary purposes.

TBD / Lagunitas Hop Stoopid - Holy god what a good beer. Tons of beautiful citrusy hops with a thick bready backbone and a slight lingering tartness at the end. Wish I would have ordered more.

1. I'm retarded.

2. Are you ok? You got a stout that's not imperial/barrel aged/only released once a year?
