So this is the IPA section at the new Total Wine in my neighborhood. Can you FBD vets tell me the 2-3 you would pick from this wall?

They told me Parish is coming. Pretty excited about that. Gnarly is probably not happening, so that sucks. So I'll have to get by with this selection for now.

Hoppy right infringement. Yellow Rose and Meta Modern.

Check the dates. I can smell the malt coming through my phone.

Yeah that one is nuts, I see it in the trade groups going for astronomical rates

Actually, 180 for a single bottle is more than in the trade groups

Assuming they are fresh, I'd pick the Odell and the Yellow Rose.

The store is only about 60-90 days old, and I know hoppywright infringement has restocked at least 3x, so it may not be a big problem yet.

But, yes, I've been told total wine has that issue. How old is too old?

Depends on the beer, but 2 months is probably safe.

My pallet is sensitive to malt. Others not so much. So my rule of thumb is 2 months old, 3 is pushing it. Unless it’s been kept in a cooler. If kept cold it will last a really long time.

Most on here will probably say 3 months if I had to guess.
