I hear that they have a new keg of Mecha that might be good. Did you try it? I keep thinking they will change the recipe.

It was less bad than normal, but not something I'd order ahead of Endeavour, Radical Rye or Lagunitas IPA.

Damn, are you drinking any Washington beers up there in Seattle?

FYI - Sticky Hands was tapped earlier today, at Baileys. If y'all want to meet me there tomorrow at 1:00 PM, that would be good, since it's just down the street from your hotel. I hope the keg makes it into tomorrow.

I really do hope that OBummer ordered it when he was there, today. I'm not sure how he would handle a big DIPA.

If not, I don't think The Beermongers has tapped their keg of SH, yet, so they are probably waiting until tomorrow, so there's that if Bailey's runs out.

NBD-wow, this is good. I wasn't sure what to expect when I heard tequila barrels then when I saw it was cuervo I wasn't expecting much, I'm pleasantly surprised.

Drinking on Ryno's dime tonight.

1 b d / Real Ale Anniversary Ale XIX Baltic Porter

I'm a big fan of porters and this one is really solid. Not too thick or rich, great level of roasted malt, subtle smokiness and bitterness that doesn't unpleasantly linger. Dark chocolate on the back end. Best porter since Morris Chesnut in Under Siege 2

I love your descriptions. I felt the same way about that beer. Very solid. Not overwhelming or spectacular but some subtle notes hidden within.

Dude I ordered a fish sandwich from there Saturday. I had to eat something it was midnight and i hadn't ate since breakfast. I was expecting a shitty bulldog sandwich. It was way worse. More like a fish filet from McDonald's that had been in the freezer for 4 years. I couldn't even finish it.

I really can't tell you how much I love a really good porter. They seem to be few and far between though in the larger scope of craft brewing.

2 b d / Tex Goat

Has the same juicy orange nose as Ghost, and the hops are super floral at first then giving way to some smooth citrus bitterness.

Not colorado elevation....but we have humidity....so it levels that john denver shite out.....on 60 lb cruisers its a 3 mile uphill......only a 200 ft gain but.......when we go see bands at grenada its all downhill home......thats sweet. I can do seat stands and handlebar pirouettes....

ETA....sorry....you are in portland.....I a;ways think of that as colorado lite.....you know....colorado with even more white people.
