We all that awkward uncle.
My dad's older brother, uncle Sonny has a patch over his eye because he lost his eye at the plant...
But that is the most boring of his stories... Amirite?

Had a bunch of Urban South today at the source. This was the best IPA. Snowball was solid, Tropical one was solid but didn’t taste much different that snowball. The DDH Holy Roller was good but not exceptional. Viva la Tequila was fricking legit. Bought two bottles to come home. Orleanian was good as well.

Coming south?

Austin St is excellent. Their brewery is worth checking out. It's pretty fantastic. The "taproom" was about as big as a closet last time I was there, but it just has that kinda DIY charm. You can then walk to Allagash and Foundation, which are worthwhile stops.

My personal favorite stops in Portland are Bissell Brothers and Oxbow, but they aren't in that same area. Right by Oxbow there is a little meadery that we actually really like too. And there's no shortage of excellent food in Portland. The Old Port is worth walking around. I love that city.
