Went to the Bells release at Hokus, had a few samples, really liked the Oarsman and Double Cream Stout. Left with some THA.

Anyone going to be passing through LC after the Opus release Saturday? I can't make it due to work, but if anyone is passing through I will happily do a roadside BXN.

I now shy away from just about any beer with the word "red"

Without getting jumped on again I would like to ask a question. Is craftbeerkings.com a good site for online buying?. Not too familiar with buying beer online.

Unless I know it's fresh. I'm a fan of hop head red. They just turn into a sweet malty mess pretty quickly

There's not really a GOOD site for buying American craft online. There are better ones, but I dunno if I'd say any are good. Sometimes it's a "necessary" evil. That one is fine. Be prudent in what you buy. Always keep freshness in mind when you buy beers where that's a factor.

Without looking at the shipping costs, it seems to be pretty good. I've never ordered from them, but their prices seem OK, and they seem to have a decent selection.

Some of the other posters on this board have probably used them. I think maybe Urinetrouble may know something.

Yeah Im not a big heavy malt guy. It said tart red Belgian so I'm hoping the tart cancels the red malt backbone.
