FBD after buying a house. Havi g a Space Dust and calamari.
I lost 3 houses to higher bids, and I was bidding well over asking. I found a spec in the PGA Village and a guy was there trying to buy it but he didn't have the 10% down payment in cash to get it under contract. He asked them to hold it for a couple of days while he got the down payment together. They said no, and he walked out. I walked in, feeling a bit like a dick, but not really, 'cuz I got the house...
And the calamari.

Thanks, man. The market is crazy down here. I bought a spec home because it will be ready in December of THIS year. If I contracted a house, it would not be ready until the spring of 2023, because of supply chain and labor issues. Fortunately, the layout, flooring, cabinets, and countertop choices were acceptable to Mrs. Jax.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I had a good setup in Indianapolis. The houses here are close together. I plan on grilling in the driveway as a way to introduce myself to the neighbors...
