So I kinda asked Hokus Pokus today if they would ever do something like a few places in Mississippi. Where they invite local breweries for tastings and feature their beers and have a food truck/local music.

Would be kinda cool I think

How was the Tricerahops. See it all the time, but have yet to pull the trigger. I keep meaning to try it, but it's available at every store I go to, so I just keep putting it off for more rare stuff.

agreed Le Terroir is really solid. $16 / bottle though one was enough for me .. not a huge sour fan. great beer though for the style.

swung by Acquistapace's when I was up in Covington today. first time there and I was fairly impressed with their selection. lots of random Belgians you rarely see, plenty of Enjoy By's, Stone R&R, Parish FIPA, several Squatters offerings I hadn't seen before. didn't see any Rougarou or Dr. Hoptagon or Pumpkinator though which I had my eye out for. also they must have had the Abita, Covington, Bayou Tech, Old Rail in a different part of the store because I didn't see any was in a hurry though.

Brewers Brunch is running low but I'll hold one for ya.

I picked up a few 6ers of High Seas today along with Cubano Espresso and Bolita.

I'm not a fan of the Tricerahops or really any of the Ninkasi stuff. Not sure why...

Groovy. I'm still holding onto a Mexican Cake for you. Haven't shipped it because it's been in the fridge for a couple months and don't think it would be proper treatment of such a fine beer to have it warm up during shipping.

Jax- tricerahops is ok. Was expecting more Hops for a DIPA.

Low alcohol for DIPA as well.
