Hmmm bourbon! So whats on da smoke man?

Honestly nothing special. I swear I'm going to do a real smoke soon. Hot wings are just a go-to at this point and when the better half demands them. She gets them.

Open the top and bottom and let the grill get io 600 and shut down the vents, will burn off that shite. Have to watch it so when the heat hit that level you can shut it down.

Nice! Does your sample port clog? I’ve had issues with mine.

All the time. It clogs when transferring to the keg and I usually have to put my arm in the sanitizing bucket and then reach into the fermenter and clear the clog. Tonight I had so much hop slush in the last 1.5 gallons I had to leave it. I think I will get a big grain bag to line it with next Neipa brew so I can pull the hops out when I keg.

I’ve been successful with ramming a sanitized semi rigid piece of tie wire into it. When I used hop bags in my NE pale ale I didn’t feel like I got as much flavor.

I've tried wire too. Tonight, it was a thick hop gumbo. I shot some compressed C02 up the valve and it cleared it for about 5 seconds. Just too much hop gunk. I'm going to use a big grain bag, not small hop socks. I think that will work.

Here is what I'm dealing with.
