Until about a week ago I knew nothing about smoking. It is crazy how the recommended techniques differ. Separate the point/flat, fat cap up/down, wrap/don't wrap....
I am going to try all of them at some point.
One thing that we can all agree on is that smoking meats and drinking beer go well together.

Not wrapping, or not moving to oven after a internal temp of about 170, will lead to a more intense smoke flavor. Some like it and others dont. It is a matter of taste.
I do not wrap, cook to internal temp of 195, move to oven with 1 hour at 175 and 1 hour at 150 to all radiant hear to pull to 200 while allowing to cool down slowly and retain moisture.
