I got the impression CCB wasn't happy with the pricing either and left the release party feeling that Widmer had really pushed for it to be priced that high. By way of comparison, Hunahpu sells for $20 a bottle...

I don't know a whole lot about that situation but why would CCB deal wih Widmer? They're not technically a craft brewery right?

I think CCB does it's best to play nicely with all of the other breweries. In many if not most cases I've said that those breweries collaborating with CCB stand more to gain than CCB does in the deal when you consider the notoriety and power of CCB's brand.

I'd say so. That'd be the first time in a long time to buy a widmer product if it was involved with CCB.

CCB is steady doing collaborations and many never actually get bottled and are served in the brewery. For instance Life is Like with Mikkeller and Last Spike with Coronado Brewing got bottled and sold all in the past month. CCB's doing a collaboration with Angry Chair and J. Wakefield now and they'll both be amazing and to be sure they'll never be bottled.

Well.. I've been in surgery for 16 hours now. I predict I won't leave the hospital for another 40 minutes to an hour. I'll then get food and drive back from Lake Charles to Lafayette. Therefore, FBD to come in approximately 2.5-3 hours

3BD- Sixpoint Bengali Tiger- this one was terrible, must have been skunked or something because I've enjoyed this quite a bit in the past.

4BD- Jai Alai- solid as always

BBrou, which hospital are you at? Just curious because I think I remember you doing some neurosurgery work. Are you working with EW?

I'm at St. Patrick right now. Not sure who EW is so I guess not. Dr BK. It was an all day affair.

ETA: I know who EW is. Sorry. Brain is kind of fried after today. But no not him tonight. He did come scrub in and help during the surgery earlier though

I spend most of my time there. I've only met BK once or twice but I really like EW a lot. He's a great doctor plus he's just insanely smart.

Hopefully will be starting to work with EW soon. But so far only BK.
I'll have to let you know next time I head out this way.
