Thanks man. Still willing to trade with you as well if you would like, unless it is just a hassle. I only have 3 Pliny left, but have 6 other beers from California' I've never tried.

Not a hassle at all. Just wanna make sure everyone has the chance to try Pliny.

Still up for a trade. You can e-mail me at thealerunner at gmail dot com if you're interested.

SBD is a Cantillon Classic Gueuze. Embrace the sour funk.

I'll allow it under the circumstances. Maybe one of these days I'll make it out there.

Just had the convo after reading y'all's responses. All I got was "don't drink out of his growler" and some laughing.

I am just venturing into this area myself. I don't love the style yet, but it is growing on me.

Definitely worth the trip. By far the most well run/organized event I've been to.

not sure you should open it by yourself for the first time.

It tastes good flat though so it'll be good the next day as long as you cover it with tin foil at the min.

I was planning on splitting it one day with someone.

How's the New Belgium La Folie? Is it a easy one to knock back solo?

I managed one and I'm not a sour person. Might have been two days, don't remember for sure.

I've only had a sour once that I can remember and it was a Russian River so I kinda feel like everything is down hill from there

I'm trying to like them, just never have liked anything sour. It is definitely up there on my short list of sours I have tried.
