Great trade there. Hop-15 was very nice. Really enjoyed it. Need to guy buy more.

Good deal. God I can't wait to bust into some of these.

For those who've shipped beer off for trades, I'm assuming as long as its well packed it shouldn't be a problem? I can just go to Fed Ex with my sealed package of "glassware" and they'll ship it to the guy I'm trading?

I don't know for sure, but I've seen guys post on here that they "built their order" and then found out they don't ship to a particular state.

Just pack it well and don't tell them it is beer.

I'm sure ill love the Pliny, Double Jack, and Sclupin...but how is the Hop 15? That was a wildcard in my order.

I tried the hop 15 this past weekend. It's good. I think it's around 10%. Very hoppy. It kinda kicked my palate in the arse because I followed it with a Pliny and it took a few sips before I could appreciate its full flavor.

thats some heavy glassware.

Olive oil seems to be the ticket. Or some other bottles liquid.

Be sure to wrap them in a trash bag or individually in ziplocks and tape it up well. That way, if there is a break, the soggy box won't fall apart and the rest will still make it to its destination.

Eta: if you tell them its liquid be sure to add that you took the proper precautions to keep anything from breaking and that it would be contained (in the event of a break).

Also, its very easy to start a personal account. You get a slight discount I believe and no questions about contents.

Just print out the label on a regular printer, fold the paper in half and ask for a package slip holder when you get there.

They also rarely catch you if your scale is a little off. Don't put 1# for a case of bombers but you can get away within reason.

Brewing another IPA tonight. These busy weekends are leading to more weeknight brew nights. 15 minutes left in the boil. Will cool and pitch after that.

Will they ask what I'm shipping? Olive oil sounds kind of a stretch as something to ship off.

Grandmas homemade olive oil. Your cousin got a job out of state and has been missing it.

And its not like they're the Gestapo.

Get an account (free and easy) and you don't have to deal with questioning. Just drop it off and leave.

I put together a $300 order from letspour back around Christmas time and they wouldn't ship to MS. Not sure why, and to be honest, I wasn't too bent out of shape. I had a rough time explaining the last two france44 orders to my wife, but she's coming around. She loves Furious.

Anybody notice that the Bros on BA finally corrected their rating of THA? Their previous rating was off the charts stupid.

Just checked that. They went from a 78 to a 92. They either read these threads or they were buying it from Orange Beach.

A bit worried about my first order which arrives tomorrow. She is in DC until Sunday night though so all should be well.

I'm in NOLA

Thanks tetu. I'm planning on shipping some packages off on Thursday so ill make an account with fed ex tonight to be ready. If all I have to do is secure the package, print the label and leave it with them then I'm golden.

Hot sauce it is
