Down Home Sausage, made in Stonewall, is our go to. Before we got on it, we used Savoie.

I was visiting relatives in Arkansas and wanted to make gumbo. The only available sausage other than the national brands like Ekrich were Conecuh and fake stuff labeled “Mardi Gras” or the like but made in a distant state.

I settled for Conecuh, which I’d never had, and it turned out pretty good. I don’t search it out, but I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again in a pinch.
