Favorite Packaged Coffee

I just tried River Road Coffees and it was great. It's cheaper, fresher, and had a bolder taste than Community. And not to mention it is made in Baton Rouge.

Rouses brand coffee is excellent - I cannot tell the difference between it and Community - I made the switch and have been drinking Rouses Dark Blend daily

so is Community, and it's all about the beans, CC's is mainly brazilian beans, which are the strongest of south american beans, if you dont like them, you won't like CC's. To me it is the best........

i made the switch a few years ago after tasting it in a restaurant and havent looked back. i have to stock up when i make trips back home as they dont sell it here in mobile. My favorite cup of all time is creole roast whole bean made with a french press

I can't believe someone else posted this. I agree, it tastes the same and a lot of times it goes on sale for $1.99 a lb.

we made the switch to dark roast river road as well, we love it but I find I have to add more grinds than I would of CC

River Road Creole Whole Bean + Burr Grinder + French Press
I used to swear by Community until I tried RR. I can barely drink the Community work coffee now. I've even tried bringing my french press to brew the CC at work and it just sucks.
