Cali Olive ranch sells blended stuff right now:

Blended with olives from other countries, NOT blended with other vegetable oils unless specifically noted clearly on the label (avocado for instance). And this is only with their specified blended bottles. They still sell a 100% Cali oil. This is a very honest company that is transparent about their oils and their makeup.

The point to my original post was that you need to watch out for fake olive oils. Unfortunately most on our shelves are fraudulent in that they blend with oils from different vegetable sources.

I get most all of my finishing olive oils such as Pruneti from Fresh Pressed Olive Oil Club

Nice! I may sign up for this.

I buy Costco premium EVOO for salads and bread and vegetable drizzle. I buy Costco light olive oil for everything else, cooking, roasting, saute, sear, etc.

Honestly, Costco EVOO is so inexpensive, I use it forost anything...

Thanks for the update. Last time I was going to purchase, I noticed the label had gone to blended olive oils, but did not know the reason. Next time I need OO, I'll see if they are back to Cali organic.

Does anyone have the recipe for the infused oil served at Portobello's with bread?

The mafia apparently runs most of the olive oil production here and it is all cut with stuff and not true olive oil
I've heard about the adulteration of olive oil using other cheaper low quality oils, but that occurs back in Italy at the manufacturer. I've read that california olive oils are the way to go because of purity laws/requirements.

I like Flag and Partanna a lot.

Both of these are very good oils made from Castelvetrano olives grown on the Asaro organic farm in Sicily. You can’t go wrong with either.

I visited a bunch of farms when I lived in northern California. My favorite brand is wild groves (formally Lucero) out of Corning, CA from some of the oldest groves in the country. I order oil and vinegar and have it shipped to me in Atlanta. To me, the quality cannot be beat.
