As a child, my favorite was Brach's gum drop nougat candies.

Now, it's a toss up between pecan pie tarts and rum cake.

So funny. I was going to post these, and then didn't.

These made by the wife every year. Sadly, probably not this year because of diet and her post surgical concerns.



Here is another - fruit tarts in puff pastry.

Candied pecans
caramel and chocolate popcorn
fudge

You can add drizzled icing over them, or almonds or pecans. If you flatten it out a little, a single sheet will make 9 pastry shells. A single, two sheet pack of puff pastry should make 18 tarts, which is two cans of pie filling.
