Fastest gumbo ever - not bad

I specifically set out to make the easiest, fastest gumbo ever. I used frozen, precut trinity, rotisserie chicken, jar roux, and box chicken stock.
It was honestly only a few points off a homemade version and it literally took 10 minutes less simmer time. I can’t say that I won’t do it again just for a family meal for the week.
Anybody else use this lazy method for a decent gumbo?

How does your process differ since I’m guessing you can’t sweat the trinity in the roux?
Just brown your chicken/sausage and then sauté the trinity? Then add the above to jarred roux and add the stock and let simmer?

How much of the jar roux and chicken stock do you use?

You can heat jarred roux, even get it a little darker if you want.

When I was a student, I would cut up a chicken and put it in the crock pot with the one hunk of sausage (for flavoring), trinity, green onions, and seasoning. Mix up some Tony's roux mix to pour over.
Turn on the crock at bedtime. In the morning, take out the chicken bones and add sliced sausage and okra for a final stint. (Cooking sausage or okra overnight would turn them to mush.) Add file' and enjoy.
My roommate laughed at it, but decided to try it. Then he started asking, "Say, when are you going to make that gumbo again?"
