But you just knew you were going to try it first chance you got?

I didn't really want to try this one, and I knew it would be bad when my wife came home with it. She's not a stout drinker and did not read the label. I do like stouts, but definitely not with a mix of holiday spices.

It was horrid. I couldn't even get through 1 beer.

If it has pumpkins or peppers I assume it's going to be bad. I would have tried that one as well though. So is it too sweet? What's the verdict?

Eh, maybe if it was a milk stout it'd be better.

Prop '16 was aged with chipotle peppers. Admittedly, it was a little harsh for immediate drinking, but mellowed a ton after a year or two of aging. Had another bottle a few weeks ago and loved it.

Abita Grapefruit IPA. Only beer I've ever poured down the drain in my 20 years of drinkin. Happened when it first came out years ago. Awful

Somebody bought me a six pack of this crap. This is the ONLY beer that I've ever poured out. Even most stuff that isn't very good I'll still drink... just bc it's beer. I couldn't finish a bottle of this nasty shite.

Yeah, they're not all bad. I like the Bomb series by Prairie. Some pumpkin beers are ok if it's a small pour but they get to be a bit much pretty quickly. By and large, there have been more misses than hits with the pepper or pumpkin beers for me personally. Habanero Sculpin is a good example.

People need to leave spicy ingredients out of beers.

Worst beer I ever had was made by "Horny Goat" should of known by the suspect brewery name.

Also the bartender at NOLA kept luring us to buy a bottle of their chocolate sour. My friend ended up buying it and split between 4 of us. Tasted like sour prune juice. I found it disgusting although others on here said that they enjoyed that particular beer.

Very thin and sweet. Actually was delicious for about 3-4 sips and then the sweetness took over. The beer does taste like Snickers a little bit, but I like Snickers and I like stouts, but... No. I'm not a fan...

Central Waters Space Ghost is actually pretty solid. It just comes across as warm on your throat and is just a really good imperial stout. (Rated as exceptional on beer advocate fwiw)
