I’m watching a show, and he’s at a Bresse chicken farm in France. He said they are the best chicken in the world.
I’ve never heard of it, and I didn’t get much info on Google.

Maybe try Le Google for more hits.

But what more info do you want than what is found here?

Yes. I have had it a few times in Paris. It is a very high quality of chicken from Bresse which is a region in France. It is like the kobe beef of chickens.

The last time I had it was in November of 2019 at a very good restaurant in the Hotel du Louvre. I am glad I got that trip in before covid because it will have to last me for a while.

Those chickens are expensive but they are much tastier than the chickens we get here. My question is Why can't we raise that exact chicken in the U.S. and sell them at the gourmet food stores here?

EDIT - I just clicked on the Bresse Farms link above which is an exotic poultry farm in Mississippi of all places. It is run be someone named Randy Moss interestingly enough. I have not tried their product but I am wondering if it is like a California sparkling wine that calls itself Champagne.

Maybe Chicken can help us with these questions.

The black footed chicken! I've had it a few times. It's good, but it's chicken.
