Energy Corridor....
Posted by SATNIGHTS on 8/26/19 at 5:13 pm01
Any thoughts on Greek, pizza, BBQ, or anything else in the Energy Corridor for Dinner. I will be with a group for a few nights and already have steakhouses picked for those.
Some BBQ joints sell out and shut down for the night.
Truth BBQ, if open, wouldn't be that much of a drive (obviously traffic's the x-factor).
Lupe Tortilla at I-10 and 99 has good steak fajitas.
Pappadeaux's is a solid seafood joint.
I'm sure others who eat out more could weigh in. Offshoreangler knows most places.

That’s outside of my AO.
Bout the best I can recommend anywhere near the Energy Corridor would be Phoenicia.
If he has a car or willing to Uber closer to the city then his options are much better.

B.B Italia on memorial just inside the Beltway. City Centre area has the aformentioned Pappadeaux’s and Pappasitos. State Fare is pretty good too. There is a Niko Niko’s at I-10 at the beltway (I don’t like or eat Greek so good luck). We like Jonathan’s the Rub. steaks, pasta, very diverse menu.

And if you're around there, go to Sayad instead of Phoenicia for a meal.
Dimassi's for being a buffet is also really solid if you want variety and quantity.
Brett's BBQ on Mason is best BBQ in the corridor area.
Lupe tortilla on hwy 6 is solid.
There are plenty options at City centre for food and drinks. Wednesday half price whiskey at Radio Milano.
The original Lupe Tortilla is on Highway 6 at I10. Much better beef fajitas than the locations that the other side of the family owns. Le Mistral on Eldridge Dr has excellent French food. The aforementioned Jonathan’s the Rub at Memorial Green has the best bone-in Veal Parmesan (looking at you BB Italia!). Kuu at Gateway Memorial is a top 5 sushi joint in Houston and a great selection of sake. El Tiempo on Gessner for a seven page selection of fine TexMex and great margaritas. Pizaro’s on the I-10 feeder at about Wilcrest for excellent Neapolitan crust pizzas.
