I grew up eating cornbread dressing but I started making oyster for the family recently. While I enjoy oyster, it’s just not Thanksgiving without my dad’s cornbread dressing.

We've always had both. Mom makes cornbread, dad makes oyster. I eat a frick ton of both.

Chicken and cornbread dressing for the win!

If anyone makes and brings oyster dressing to our place will not be invited back! Nasty!

Never had oyster dressing. Not really a fan of oysters anyway. It might be the nectar of the gods for all I know.

Cornbread. (Which I mix with toast also)

Cornbread vs Oyster

Let's cut to the chase. It's Southern vs Yankee. That said, anything other than classic cornbread dressing with Turkey broth, celery, onions and lots of poultry seasoning + sage, is a sacrilege.

The best is a cornbread-based oyster dressing. My family usually gets ours at Harbor Seafood in KennahBrah
