Charbroiled oysters were meh. I prefer ACME's.
Tuna steak was good, my buddy kept picking shell out of his seafood pasta. The folks next to us got the shrimp grits and it was totally saturated with butter. It didn't look good.
The service was excellent.

$2M investment
100 employees
20 year lease to the Grand

The food and service better be amazing or Dragos will fold like it's predecessors in the same location

I’m really surprised he opened up in Lafayette. He didn’t want to open up a second location in NOLA but Hilton made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. Same deal in Jackson. He’s not getting the same deal in Lafayette.

Went today for lunch after church, and it was very good. Wife had a crab meat salad that was a generous portion of greens and of crabmeat.I had Herradura Shrimp, which was similar to shrimp scampi, and there were 10 large shrimp in a sauce with a large portobello mushroom. Angel hair pasta on the side.

Friends at the next table got the oysters and the Maine lobster, and they loved it as well.

We will be going back.

They've been trying, this is the 3rd location after first two fell through before construction started.

My son is working there. He is in the same fraternity as one of the Citanovich boys.

I'll give Dragos credit for having the balls to open on a Sunday. Lafayette is so fickle about that. Even the busses aren't moving on Sundays.
