Looks like it hits the shelves in LA early January.

Too late in my mind, not excited.

When we goto FL I always pass on it.

Was in Philly and went to their brewery in July. I like their stuff but we can get better shite here locally (in LA).

I have to be honest the whole scene up there was underwhelming, beer was an afterthought after shitty food, canned atmosphere and selling merch.

I can remember my first time trying their beers 10 or so years ago and being blown away. Do they still do that hopped up brown ale? Indian brown maybe? I used to love that beer but I have a feeling my tastes have changed some.

I googled dogfish head Louisiana to see what they are offering down here. The first thing that came up was a tigerdroppings thread from 2012 with nashty looking to try their stuff. Anyone know what they will offer?

It was my favorite brewery about 5 years ago. 60 minutes and 90 minute ipa were my favs. India Brown was great, palo santo maron, world wide stout, bitches brew, aprihop, punkin, etc... always filled up my trunk when I visited Houston.

Since then my taste buds have changed and I rarely seek them out. But having 60 minute as a change of pace IPA and rediscovering then again will be pretty nice.

Juicy ipa's are definitely the rage but man I love a solid, bite you in the face bitter ipa

File under "What a time to be alive as a beer drinker" when Dogfish Head is now considered just okay.

Just equal or better options locally now, 3 years ago this would have been a seismic event.

It’s not DF Paul but much more availability of other beers in say the last 3-5 year coupled with regional breweries popping up.

Hell, as sad as it is, I haven’t even bought an Envie in a while. Usually grab a pack of Holy Roller instead.

Let me know when the likes of Treehouse and Trillium start sending beer down here. Other than that, the local guys brew much better beer than the widely distributed stuff.

Nothing personal but I hope that never happens.

If they distribute elsewhere it just won’t be as good as it is now. Kind of like when Sip of Sunshine started distributing in MA - I see it all the time and it’s lost it’s luster.
