Lord knows I don't need to buy another knife, but I really like the look of this one and price.

It better be cheap Gris Gris. Someone broke the end off of it. I have a pocket knife my son popped the end off of, trying to open a tin can. I really liked that knife, too.
Pretty much useless afterwards, but I plan on leaving it to him when I die.

UH. No I don't have it. Other than having the end popped off, it looks nice.

Sorry, I am in one of my moods today.

I don’t have that specific nakiri but I coveted that style of knife for a while. I finally purchased one from chefknivestogo earlier this year and my western chef’s knives now stay in the block. I find myself looking for reasons to use it.

Makes sense to me from a safety standpoint and how often do you really poke something with the tip on purpose with a Chef's Knife? If you really need a point you can grab one of the other 50 knives we all have.

Probably going to be the same for me even though I don't need another one. I like that it doesn't have a point on the end. The light weight is also attractive.

Nope. It’s just too ugly to be allowed into my kitchen.

Thanks for reminding me, I need to buy another nakiri knife. If you haven't bought yet, I ordered this and the Shun nakiri knife. The Zhen was actually more comfortable to use to me, and I own several Shun knives.

If i was looking for a general purpose, quality knife for general use, $100 range, what would you guys recommend? This seems like a knife particularly for vegetables?

Is that chef knives to go the site to explore?
