I really liked this one but there isn't enough room under the hood. I want to put a full cup under there.

That's beautiful....would love to have. But that price is way too steep. However, ya'll have me confused now so I'm looking closer at the Breville machines.

It's now between the Gaggia Cabrezza, Breville Infuser, or Breville Duo Temp Pro. Any reqs from those?

not sure what you're asking... I run a single shot of hot water through an empty basket before pulling a shot to warm up the portafilter and the group head and all the internal parts. you dont neccisarily have to do that though. the machine doesnt force me to do that. is that what you are refering to?

now the infuser does do a low pressure push of water to "infuse" the puck before ramping up to full brew pressure... but that is part of the brewing process once you push the button to pull your shot

the infuser is nice if you want a semi auto but still want to tinker a bit. the pressure guage allows you to see if your grind and tamp are in the right range, etc. you can also play around with the preset temp settings and pull your shots auto or manual. it's a nice little entry level machine.

Yes, this is what I'm referring to, not the pre-infuse. I believe one of the review videos I watched it showed the Breville machines automatically performing a warming rinse through the filter & even the frother.

Ah ok I haven’t seen one that actually forces that as part of the warm up process

Edit: it sounds like youre talking about the actual flushing process. That doesnt have anything to do with brewing. It’s more of a periodic cleaning thing

if you dont want to invest in a decent grinder you may have to stick with pods for now.

JURA MICRO 9 that I found at a thrift store. I googled the name and saw that used they were selling for $500-600$ and $1200 new.

Bought it for 14 and spent 100$ for missing parts.
