Does anyone have a soda fountain machine at home?

If so, where did you buy it from? Who set it up? I'm looking for a bar gun/tower with remote chiller setup. Any suggestions? Any recommendations on 1 flavor, 2, or more?

That would be awesome if you also had a nugget ice machine. I would go for a small tower on the countertop by the bar. A company I used to work for had a nice fountain machine in the break room and a few smaller ones at other coffee stations. The smaller ones only held three flavors and you reloaded them by putting a carton with a nozzle in them. Perfect size for what you’re looking for. I know they had water lines and carbonation built in. Contact some of your local coffee service vendors. The guys that brought our supplies were also the coffee vendor. They can probably set you up with the machine and get you on a schedule for syrup delivery and service.

That just sounds like a PITA to keep up with cleaning, CO2, syrup unless you are making a shite ton of carbonated drinks

That sounds good but impractical as shite. How many times will u actually use that?

I had a friend post this the other day; Its a Kickstarter project but looks pretty cool. It is automated, wifi enabled and has an app to select what drink you want to make. apparently will be shipping soon.

You will not be disappointed. I will say that the machine has been serviced once but it was within the 2 year(?) warranty so I paid $0. And it must be cleaned every 6 months or so. It can make a little noise too but if it's in your kitchen then it shouldn't be a problem. The ice is superb, though.

I"ve always wanted one. They are neat. But yea, very impractical but it's what I want. The hubby is supportive although he says my legs will be chopped off when I get diabetes.
