Guilty as charged. I would like to point out that except for that one post, I can't be blamed for this whatsoever.

Starving or nutritionally deprived dogs are really the only dogs I've seen eat their own shite.

Dogs that eat too quickly don't fully digest their food. It comes out the other side smelling and tasting (more or less) like the stuff in their bowl so they eat it.

That's exactly what it is.

I keep live rabbits caged at my house. Every day, I release one for the dog to chase and eat. It really is the only natural way to keep him close to his roots. On special occasions, I'll bring in a nice, tender new-born deer fawn.

No need. Plenty of those running around naturally.

Damn, this is prolly the longest non recipe or weight loss thread in F&DB history. Did Zach and SWLA have a "caloric intake of fat children" MMA championship fight over on the Poli (they dont let me go over there, so I cant check)?

Doubt it. Some of the chain threads with Mike Da Tigah went up to 20 pages.

It was only an observation, not factual evidence presented under oath in a court of law.

Then you might need to tune up your powers of observation.

OMG, I can't believe this thread is still going.

I think it's a testament to how much we treat dogs as "family" these days as opposed to "pets" 40 years ago.
In the 1960s there were no dog friendly hotels or restaurants. There were no refrigerated dog meals in supermarkets. There were no 'dog cook books' at Barnes and Noble.
There were no dog parades during Mardi Gras.

And when the dog got old and sick, you didnt bring it to the vet to put it down.

America's too soft now!

By the time I'm ready to die I think society will allow humans to have the same peaceful 'putting down' that dogs have.

If not, I'm gonna kill myself by drinking 3 red bulls and then 5 Quad espressos. All on an empty stomach. I'll be twitching for half an hour after I'm dead.

I want the PPV rights signed over to me for the event, I title the program simply "Laugh your arse to death with Zach". I think it would do better than a moon landing at least.

Add a pound of cheese to that. The shock to your system should do the trick
