Last night I went to the Londoner with an old friend. I tried a few Samuel Smith beers and others I've never had before. My friend drank Bud Light. He said that's all he drinks. Wouldn't even give anything else a chance. I thought this was odd and narrow-minded. Of the "light" beers, my go-to beer would be Coors, but I am willing to try anything. cool story

I often stare at a beer list for 30 minutes before ordering a Bud Light. Never got the taste for most different beers. Now wine, thats a totally different story.

My go to beer right now is Racer 5. If I'm at a run-o-the-mill bar they will usually have Sierra Nevada PA and I'll go for that. If its a really crappy bar I may have to resort to Shiner.

Southern Star Bombshell Blonde

If you see it, try it. Incredible beer to either enjoy or knock back 35 of.

not much of a beer drinker. much prefer scotch, bourbon or wine. if I am drinking beer I usually go with PBR or a Nola Brown.

I drink bourbon or gin and tonics now that it's warming up. Beer just doesn't do anything for me these days.

Since most restaurants/bars around here only have Shiner or Newcastle, those are probably my go-to beers.

My go-to beer from the store that I usually always have stocked in the beer fridge is Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale. Just so refreshing.

I always like to try different beers when I am at a bar. Even when I go to my beer store, I usually mix and match different stuff. Will come home with a six pack of six single different beers.

I guess if I had to pick a few regulars that I get at bars that have little selection... Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Abita Amber, whatever the Sam Adams on tap is.

I will drink any beer as well, not really any that I wouldn't drink, some I don't like as much as others.

New Castle or Abita Amber are probably my go to's as far as casual bar drinking.

If im looking to drink 30 beers during a day of tailgating or crawfish boiling etc, I usually drink a light beer bud, miller or mich ultra typically.

i've always maintained the theory that if your favorite beer is bud, bud light, miller light, etc... then you dont really like beer, you just like drinking. just as someone who's favorite food is mcdonalds, they dont really like food, they just like eating.

So because I drink Miller I should throw out the Stone, NOLA, and Abita that I have in the fridge? According to your theory I am simply drinking it to drink, right?

Not drink, LIKE. Do you like miller. Now if it was the same price as stone, nola, abita, etc would you still get it?

I will drink miller at crawfish boils, tailgating, etc b/c they are cheap and come in a can, but I don't keep them in my fridge. I get them b/c I want to drink that day and they are much cheaper. After 6 or 7 of anything I won't know or care what I'm drinking.
